Future Plans

Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam hopes to extend its service to accommodate to a wider range and a greater number of individuals. Currently the centre provides for more than 190 students, trainees and patients. The projection is that in a next few years, an increase of four folds will occur, following which a master plan has been developed to accomodate these new deamand.

The new Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam will be equippped with high quality infrastructure and will the first purpose built centre in Brunei.

The project will take X years to complete and will take place in two phases:
 

Phase I

Physical Rehabilitation Block construction will commence before the end of 2015. This rehabilitation block will serve as an epitome of Centre of Excellence, pursuing towards well-equipped rehabilitation centre for various physical and developmental disabilities in all ages.
 

Phase II

The proposed Education block will follow when rehabilitation building is completed. It hopes to provide a well-built environment to cater for children special education programme. The education block will also serve training programmes in preparation to mainstream occupation.

Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam will play is crucial role in advocating the rights of people with disabilities in the country hosting awareness programme, seminars, workshop to family members, NGOs, relevant agencies and the community as whole.
